Swimming
The Tadcaster Community Swimming Pool is one of the region's most popular swimming pool and fitness venues.
The Main Pool is 25m x 13m (six lanes), has a depth of 1m through to 1.8m and is maintained at 29°C. The pool has blocks and anti wave swimming lane ropes.
The venue has clean and spacious separate male and female changing rooms. The training venue also has a small gym regularly used by swimmers and parents (subject to joining as a gym member).
Tadcaster Pool training facilities are fully accessible - this includes blue badge parking, full wheelchair accessibility, suitable handrails and appropriate changing spaces. There is a hoist to support access in and out of the water. Parking is extensive and free of charge.
Situated on the University of York campus, York Sport has an eight lane 25m competition standard swimming pool with blocks and anti wave swimming lane ropes. The pool has a depth of 1.2m through to 2m and the temperature is around 29°C. It is the venue for our annual Back-to-School Blast swimming gala.
The facilities at York Sport Village also include outdoor 3G pitches and fitness studios which are used by the Club for our non-residential training camps.

Yearsley Swimming Pool
Yearsley Pool is situated close to the Nestlé factory on Haxby Road in York. It is a unique 50 yard Edwardian swimming pool. Using this facility for some morning training sessions during the long course season offers the Performance Development and Advanced Competition training groups the opportunity to swim in a longer pool. This six lane pool has blocks and anti wave swimming lane ropes.
The facilities include male and female changing rooms and showers. The pool has accessible toilets, changing and a hoist. Parking can be limited but is free of charge.
Strength & Conditioning
Located just outside Tadcaster, Tadcaster Grammar School offers a spacious gym space for strength and conditioning sessions with our younger swimmers. Parking is extensive and free of charge.
Located on Hull Road with easy access from the A64 and A1079, the Fitness Suite at Archbishop Holgate’s School provides an excellent venue for strength and conditioning. The additional fitness equipment and weights adding variety to the programme of activities. Parking is extensive and free of charge.
